This is cool and just found out today - Forever Knight (all 3 seasons) is being released in a huge DVD box set.  The DVDs play in region 1 (US and Canada).  Its for sale on Amazon.com and you can pre-order now, with the release date to be 9 July 2019.  Cost is $64.98 USD.  So if you have been looking to complete the set, or get it all on DVD at a reasonable price, this would be a good time.

This is great news! The new release might draw in new fans! Wish they would play region 2 as well. The old ones did, although it said region 1 on the box. I'm currently rewatching the entire series.

Yes - it should get more people interested and since you would get all the seasons at a more reasonable price than the original sets that should attract people more. I know you can usually change the play region on DVD players, but I think only 2 or 3 times then it is stuck on the last region selected. Maybe they will offer it in different regions later since there was an international interest in the show.

Yes, it was nice that they chose a new image for the cover and I'm interested to see if the internal packaging has something different than the original DVD releases. Plus I really liked the price drop!

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the internal packaging and that drop in price is fantastic. Attractive packaging and price point put it at the perfect place for impulse buyers. Fresh blood!!

Mill Creek also released the complete series of Quantum Leap with almost all the original music. They changed the disc art and style of packaging from what was used in the original DVD release, so I imagine they'll do the same with FK. The only thing I wasn't too keen on is that for seasons that required more than 2 discs, they stacked two of the discs on the same holder. They also didn't get the rights to the few special features the previous release had so I'm guessing that we'll be losing the commentaries from season 2 and Kristen's vids from season 3.

Yes - fresh buyers! Especially now that the whole series costs about or less than you can find just season 3 at. You're probably right - they probably will leave off the bonus material.
